Close to nature. Had the room withoutbath but it workes out fine breakfast was really good.
Very very small room you could look into the rooms from the veranda.

Beautiful place.
A shared bathroom here meant going down the hall and out onto a veranda and then walk some more. I think the hotel ought to be quite clear about what a shared bathroom means. It was ok for two nights but an extended stay would have been difficult for me.

I scheduled 2 nights but left after 1 night. What was listed as shared bath between 2 rooms was actually shared "community Bath facilities". havent used those since college and army days. The bath tub is not safe for senior citizens since it does not have hand rails. The rooms are small with no tel. TV, internet. Heat is not adjustable. Amazingly, its quite comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. With all the inconveniences, the rates are more than what is available in town.

Good Location- only a 10 minutes drive from Mariposa Grove. Really good breakfast.
No Internet, no tv. The only Restaurant around is the one in the hotel, which is expensive.

A very pretty hotel with historic charm. Good location, easy accesible by car. Clean place, nice breakfast (eggs, sausage, delicious potatos; good fruit salad; cake and muffins)
It was difficult to adjust the room temperature to a comfortable level and the way to the bathrooms is outside the building, which may be inconvenient especially in cold nights. Room keys worked poorly due to very old lock.

I really liked the character of the hotel (built in the 1870's), and the free breakfasts were excellent. Hotel staff were great.

This plantation-style hotel was so cute. I really liked the fact that the buffet breakfast was included in the price. The staff were really friendly and very accommodating, letting us check in close to midnight. I liked the campy feel having to walk down the hall to the shared bathrooms. I would gladly stay there again anytime, we had such a nice stay. :)
